Gravel from store bought bonsai?
My mom bought me a bonsai last night, but it have rocks that are like glued or somehow stuck in, I could remove them with a tool driver, and I also read that these can prevent water from reaching the roots. Should I remove these?
Yes. A good way to water a bonsai is to put it in water for several minutes and then let it drain. The rocks will come loose anyway. Looks like the glue would make a mess while sitting in the water.
